Style takes to the skies and COVID-19 cannot stop it!
On this week’s episode of Keeping it Krischic’s pandemic special, Quarantelling Stories (more explanation about it in this post), I chatted with LA Designer Puey Quiñones about his stylish line of PPE for AirAsia Doctors and eventually… consumers!
The style savant who has been featured in Harper’s Baazar, lunched with Anna Wintour, and had his pieces worn by Tyra Banks, Meg Donnelly, and Zuri Hall has turned his efforts toward wearable PPE. Watch now for all the insight on his design process, a preview of these gorgeous protective pieces and what keeps him inspired during lockdown.
The Story Behind the Style:
I wore this tweed jacket during one of my first stints on-camera in college. I was Pepperdine University’s very FIRST fashion anchor before becoming Good Morning Malibu’s host (fun fact: I founded the position) and the founder of USC’s first fashion-based talk show (which has now expanded to feature various types of creatives). Resurrecting this silver tweed jacket with fun zippers felt full circle!
