Looking expensive has less to do with the price tag of what you buy and more to do with how you style those items. One way to be perceived as a lady of luxury is to wear neutrals. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing color, especially as an on-camera reporter, but my off-duty looks tend to be toned down. But just because they are toned down, doesn’t mean they are any less, ‘Krischic!’
Here are my tips for how to wear neutral blends this summer without blending in.

Color Block
One of the prime ways to play with calm colors is to utilize diverse shades! Beige on beige can be boring if you don’t pair them with pizazz. A sweater in a frothy latte beige contrasts well with crisp white Bermuda shorts. Nothing screams coastal clothing more than these hushed tones combined! Plus for seaside towns with lower temperatures a sweater and shorts combo is a solid compromise!

Trial and Texture
This metallic gold Calvin Klein Belt is reminiscent of the coastal beach landscape: golden and adorned with rocks—or in this case, rhinestones. It breaks up the beige sweater and shorts, so your neutrals are monochromatic instead of monotonous.

Complimentary Jewelry
Every girl has her go-to accessories, and mine are mini gold hoops with seashell-like frays. Gold metal looks best with a neutral set, because they add warmth. These earrings have a vintage vibe that a forward thinker with a vintage soul’s looks with be incomplete without.
