A quarter of my closet consists of archives from her ‘80s, ‘90s, and early ‘00s wardrobe (this cropped jacket I wore to the @sacantiquefaire today is a prime example). She taught me that style can be a tool of expression. She’s a living example that clothes only come to life when the person inside them is kind, full of passion, and has determination to be the good in the world while taking time to seek out the best for themselves. Thank you mom for being the ultimate role model, my best friend, and the coolest person I know. #happymothersday This outfit makes it possible to be in two places and two timelines at once: Paris and Los Angeles, 2023 and 1993 (when my mom wore this pearl jacket that she has kindly let me have).
